Coach Flexon has been involved in lacrosse for the better part of two decades as a high school player, college athlete, and coach.  He began his career at St. Augustine Prep as a defender in their inaugural season of 2001.  Upon graduating in 2003, he attended Kings College 07' and Lamar University 17'.  Chad finished his career as a leader in groundballs and offensive points as a defender.  While attending, he was honored with being named to the Middle Atlantic Conferences All-Academic Team (3x) and his senior year concluded with being named the Male Scholar-Athlete of the Year.

He returned to NJ and was hired in the fall of 2007 to join the St. Augustine Lacrosse coaching staff as a Freshman and JV coach.  In 2008, he helped out the SouthShore coaching staff as a defensive coach on a part-time basis.  In 2011, he became the assistant coach for the Hermits Varsity team as the defensive coordinator and joined SouthShore full time.   Throughout the years, he has played an integral part in bringing youth teams to SouthShore, while taking a role as the Youth Director.

As an educator, Coach Flexon is well-known in the community while also earning many accolades as a curriculum consultant, event organizer, and published author in various educational journals.  Coach “Flex” as many call him, also has a passion for fitness as he helps coordinate the Hermits Lacrosse weightlifting and conditioning programs.  He recently moved back to his hometown of Washington Twp with his wife, Nicole, two children, Carter and Reese, and their dog, Knox.  Coach Flex will welcome baby #3 to his family this fall.
